Read Isaiah 55:6-11
Take a serious look at the Bible. Any one who carefully examines the Bible and the process of how it got to us has to agree that it COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MADE UP!
Not only does the process of transmission from the original copies to our day rule out the prospect of lies and error, the actual content of the Bible also rules out such possibilities. The whole Bible is one story—the story of God’s dealing with mankind. The Bible shows where it all went wrong, what God has done about it and what God is going to do about it. The Bible looks honestly at the character of mankind and the character of God.
Historically, the Bible is one of the most accurate and prolific ancient documents that we contain. If we write off the Bible as historically inaccurate then most of, if not all of, our ancient history needs also to be written off as well. Historically, there is no precedent to reject the veracity of the Bible.
But arguments by themselves will never suffice. Read the Bible and check it out for yourself. Find out how relevant and life changing the Bible can be by reading it yourself. Start with the books or gospels called Matthew, Mark, Luke or John in the New Testament. Read it and critically evaluate what it says. It will change your life!
