Read Proverbs 20:5-6

If only I could be certain that the Bible was true. If only I could be certain that it wasn't filled with errors and thoughts of mankind. If only I knew how we got our Bible. If only I was sure that it hadn’t been corrupted over time.

Have you ever had thoughts like these? Have you ever wondered whether the Bible was full of legends, myths, fantasies or whether it was really true? Have you ever doubted whether an ancient document over 2,000 years old could actually be trusted? Most people have.

If you can understand the process of how we got our Bible and if you can understand the accuracy with which it was translated, you will begin to see just how trustworthy and factual it really is.

When you begin to see the Bible as it really is, the Word of God, you can begin to trust it and to take it seriously. You can then begin to see who Jesus really is and what really happened to him.

This study presents an overview of how we got our Bible - the process of getting from the mouth of God to us. It looks at other issues which may be of concern to you as well. Why? So that you can accept the Bible as the accurate and true Word from God which was written some time ago but is still relevant and meaningful today.
