Read 2 Corinthians 13:11-14

There’s an old saying: If you aim at nothing you’ll hit it every time. This tends to work for most things. Think of your life. What are you aiming for? What’s your purpose? What’s the goal of your life? What’s the point of it all?

As we ponder it, Paul gives the Corinthian church some parting words that could well make up the mission statement for a person’s life. Imagine what your life would look like if you aimed for perfection.  Imagine the difference to your life if you made it your personal goal or mission to strive for perfection in everything, to be of one mind with the church and to live at peace with everybody. WOW! What a powerful life that would be.

What we have above is called living intentionally. It’s about setting a course for your life (in line with Scripture) and then striving to reach that  goal. Think about your life and what God wants you to be doing. Will you be on board or will you aim at nothing?

Prayer:-

  • Pray that our brothers and sisters in Burma would live intentionally as they seek to minister the gospel to others. Pray that they would see great church growth through conversions.

  • Pray that we too would live intentional lives for the sake of the gospel. Pray that we would take and make opportunities to share the gospel of hope in our world and ask God to bring growth to your church through conversions.
