Read Colossians 1:19-20

When Jesus died on the cross for the sins of the world we often think of the human world as the realm for which He died - and rightly so.  But there is a realm that we rarely think about - the heavenly realm.

Hebrews 9:23 says:-

It was necessary, then, for the copies of the heavenly things to be purified with these sacrifices, but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these.

Jesus’ blood brought reconciliation and cleansing to the earthly realm and also to the heavenly realm. All things in creation, on earth and in the heavens, have been affected by the blood of Christ Jesus.

When we talk about the Lordship of Jesus and His exaltation, we need to remember that He has been exalted far above all humans, all angels, all powers and dominions, all authorities and principalities in the heavenly realms. Jesus is Lord of everything. Hallelujah.

Prayer:-

ü Spend time praising God for the Lordship of Christ Jesus.

ü Pray that many people in Iraq would see the Lordship of Christ and come to worship Him through the proclamation of our brothers and sisters in that war torn land.

ü Pray that many non believers in Toowoomba would see the Lordship of Christ through our 2 weeks of mission and that they would repent and believe in Him for eternal life. Pray that we would have great reason to celebrate as many people turn to Christ in repentance and faith.
